JSC “Turgai-Petroleum”, which has a history of almost 30 years, for the second time this year in the holy month of Ramadan set a table for fasting people. OILMAN’S DAY WAS BRIGHTLY CELEBRATED IN THE COMPANY

The professional holiday “Day of Oil and Gas Complex Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held at the Contract Territory of TURGAI-PETROLEUM Joint Stock Company – Kumkol field.
During the festive event, first of all, presentation of books of the Company’s veteran, historian Alibek Sabyrbayev Alibek Seitmuratovich “Karakum kurultai”, “Secret history of the Kete family”, “Ancient history of the Kete tribe” took place.
Congratulating the industry veteran on the presentation of 3 new books, the Head of the Company D. Abilkhairov expressed warm wishes to the historian and traditionally put a chapan on his shoulders.
Later the event continued with a solemn evening dedicated to the professional holiday.

COMPANY CELEBRATED NAURYZ HOLIDAY
The Great Equinox Day is widely celebrated in the country. In Kyzylorda city and in every village of the region yurts were erected and festive concerts were organized for the residents. The staff of joint stock company “Turgai-Petroleum” did not stay away from this holiday, which is considered the beginning of the year for the Kazakh people.
On the square in front of the akimat of Kyzylorda city the company erected a yurt, and in the evening of March 21, a table was set for the staff of the company and residents of the city for a feast.
And the next day residents and guests of the city were offered to taste national dishes, as well as organized a festive concert.

This was the first year when the Labor Day was widely celebrated in the country. The significant date, established 7 years ago on the last Sunday of September, was celebrated at a high level in JSC “TURGAI-PETROLEUM” – one of the companies making a great contribution to the socio-economic development of not only Kyzylorda region, but also the whole country.
Dauren Abilkhairov, the company’s head, congratulated the staff on this holiday, noting its importance and significance.
Labor Day is a holiday designed to motivate, support and inspire people to conquer new heights of labor. I congratulate you on “Labor Day”, dedicated to the achievements of our people in the economic and social sphere. This holiday is a symbol of respect of all Kazakhstanis for labor, aspiration of each of them to become a professional in their work. In the sacred place “Kumkol” hundreds of oil workers demonstrate an example of valiant labor. At the end of the event, D. Abilkhairov presented a letter of commendation to the company’s geologist of the 1st category Askar Kabdul from the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakupova. It should be noted that annually the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population on the eve of the memorable date holds a national competition “Yenbek Zholy” to determine the best labor dynasties and production workers. This year, according to the results of the competition in the nomination “The best labor dynasty” won the dynasty of Atshybaevs Askar Kabdul. In this dynasty 10 people work in the oil and gas industry, the cumulative labor experience of all is 304 years. Their names are included in the “Golden Card” of the country and the Board of Honor of dynasties of oilmen of Atyrau region.
Also the head of the enterprise presented the Head of Tax Accounting Department Zhanat Bodykova and Head of Well Workover Department Marat Sydykov with Letters of Gratitude of Akim of Kyzylorda region N.M. Nalibayev.

TEAMBUILDING AMONG OIL COMPANIES OF THE SYRDARYA REGION ORGANIZED FOR THE FIRST TIME

TURGAI-PETROLEUM Joint Stock Company, one of the largest oil and gas enterprises in the region, constantly pays special attention to the social condition of its employees. Since Dauren Abilkhairov came to the management of the company, a large number of corporate events were organized, which became a stimulus for educational activities.
One of them is an unprecedented in the history of the company corporate training (team building) event.
For 189 employees of the Oil and Gas Production Shop at the “Alma-Tau” and “Tau Samaly” resorts in Shymkent, as well as for 56 employees of the administrative staff, corporate training on optimization of work processes was held.
Based on the results of this training, a “Brainstorming” project was developed with the possibility of rewarding employees for making rational proposals to improve all areas of the Company’s activities.
AKIM OF THE REGION AWARDED THE COMPANY’S HEAD WHO PROVIDED ASSISTANCE DURING THE DISASTER
On the eve of the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan – May 1 – in Kyzylorda, the regional akim Nurlybek Nalibayev met with representatives of the public of the region. The head of the region warmly congratulated everyone on the holiday.
The event was attended by intellectuals, members of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, heads of ethno-cultural associations of the region, philanthropists, heads of non-governmental organizations, volunteers, media representatives. As the head of the region noted, the strategic goal of the government is unity and cohesion in the society. And every citizen of the country should adhere to this norm in his life.
– At the XXXІІІ session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev noted that during the floods the unity and cohesion of our people became stronger, – said the regional akim. – All Kazakhstanis, from small to elder, extended a helping hand to the victims in the north and west of the country. On the instructions of the Head of the State, the Government, quasi-governmental companies, entrepreneurs, public funds have allocated more than 140 billion tenge to stabilize the situation. The initiative of the President of the country was also supported by representatives of the Syrdarya region, who extended a helping hand to the residents of the affected regions. Large companies, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, political parties, structures of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan and volunteers took an active part in the republican charitable action along with state institutions. From our region to Kostanay, West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Atyrau and North Kazakhstan regions for rendering help to victims was sent 738 people, 216 units of special equipment. Today, on behalf of the residents of the land of Syr, I express special gratitude to the representatives of our region, people’s elected representatives, businessmen, employees of the regional Department of Emergency Situations and volunteers who provided assistance to the residents of the regions affected by floods,” said Nurlybek Mashbekuly.
Shakizada Abdikarimov, honorary citizen of Kyzylorda region, was awarded the Order of “Kurmet”, Irina Shek, head of the regional German socio-cultural center, Dauren Abilkhairov, General Director of JSC “Turgai-Petroleum”, volunteer Aset Baimyrza, chairman of the regional branch of the Youth wing of the movement “Zhastar rukhy” under the party “Amanat”, made a speech and called on compatriots to continue creative work through unity and solidarity.
– At present our country is trying to cope with the consequences of the natural disaster. Due to the difficult situation in the country, our President delivered an address and said: “It is especially important in such difficult times to keep our hand on the pulse. We will overcome this disaster by coming together and uniting. We will be able to do it. The head of state has always said that one of the main values for our people is unity and mutual assistance, and has repeatedly noted that thanks to unity we have overcome the most difficult times. The united people of Kazakhstan, having achieved success in the turbulent history of the twentieth century, today shows a high example of citizenship and extends a helping hand to each other. At the moment, neighboring and brotherly countries are also providing humanitarian support to our country.
People say: “Trouble does not come with advance warning”. In this case, there is no greater happiness than to unite as a country and overcome difficulties. The residents of Syr region, which you lead, did not hesitate to lend a helping hand to the country in the Urals and Saryarka with your support. The oilmen of the Syr region have also proved that they are with the people of our country. As you noted, the oil company “Turgai-Petroleum”, which employs representatives of 15 nationalities, provided assistance worth more than 50 million tenge and together with the residents of Kyzylorda region, delivered to the regions affected by the water disaster, in particular, to Aktobe, Atyrau, West-Kazakhstan, Kostanay, North-Kazakhstan regions and the city of Kulsary humanitarian aid by 10 heavy-duty trucks. In addition, it was decided to send the Company’s employees living in the regions affected by the disaster – Kulsary, Atyrau, Aktobe – to help their cities as volunteers, while keeping their salaries. I believe that helping people in need is the main principle and national duty of every socially responsible company.
In recent years, our country has been going through another historical period of very difficult trials. As they say, “in unity forked”, I believe that thanks to unity and solidarity we will overcome all these difficulties, become stronger and more united than before. JSC “TURGAI-PETROLEUM” SENT HUMANITARIAN AID WORTH 50 MILLION TENGE TO THE AREAS DAMAGED BY FLOODS.
As you know, in connection with the difficult situation in the country due to spring floods, the Head of the State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the people of Kazakhstan with a special appeal. “At this difficult moment for the country the unity and cohesion of our society are more important than ever. I am confident that together we will surely overcome this element!”, – said the President. In this regard, upon the instruction of Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev, the work on rendering assistance to the regions of the country affected by floods has been started in the region. All Kyzylorda residents have actively joined the work. Akimats of Kyzylorda and districts launched an action “Our strength is in unity”, all concerned citizens, representatives of business structures, as well as volunteers contribute to it.
Today, one of the major oil producing companies in the region – JSC “Turgai-Petroleum” – sent 120 tons of humanitarian aid worth 50 million tenge to the flood-hit Atyrau, Aktobe, Kostanai, West Kazakhstan and North Kazakhstan regions.
Ten vehicles with a carrying capacity of 20 tons delivered food, gas stoves, boats, blankets and bedding, dishes, hygiene products, medicines to the residents. On behalf of the residents of the Syrdarya region, the Chairman of the regional Maslikhat Nauryzbai Baikadamov and General Director of “Turgai-Petroleum” Dauren Abilkhairov expressed wishes for a good journey.
It should be noted that JSC employees themselves delivered humanitarian aid to 5 regions.
THE COMPANY APPROVED NEW AGREEMENT
JSC TURGAI-PETROLEUM for the first time signed a Collective Agreement with improved conditions in order to ensure sustainability of the situation in the collective.
The main advantage of this Collective Agreement is that the amount of social payments is fixed to the monthly calculation index (MCI). In particular, the Company pays the following social benefits to employees once a year:
– social allowance for marriage – 45 MCI;
– social allowance for birth or adoption of a child – 35 MCI;
– Social allowance for burial of an employee – 200 MCI;
– social allowance for burial of an employee’s family member (mother, father, spouse, son, daughter) – 50 MCI;
– one-time social allowance to an employee upon retirement – 100 MCI;
– Upon submission of supporting documents (birth certificate, disability certificate), the employer makes financial aid payments to Employees with disabled children in the family in the amount of 100 MCI once a year regardless of their age;
– 50th anniversary date of birth of the employee – 100,000 tenge;
– 60th anniversary date of birth of an employee – 120,000 tenge;
– The Company pays financial aid once a year to employees recognized as veterans of combat operations in Afghanistan in the amount of 125,000 tenge;
– The Company once a year pays financial aid to employees who are participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and citizens who suffered as a result of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site in the amount of 125,000 tenge.
In addition, in accordance with the Collective Agreement, the Company’s employees receive bonuses 3 times a year – on Nauryz holiday, Oil Workers’ Day and Independence Day.
Also, under the new Collective Agreement, for the first time the Company’s non-working pensioners received the payments.
CELEBRATION OF OILMEN’S DAY
A professional holiday “Day of workers of the oil and gas complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held on the Contract territory of the joint-stock company “TURGAI-PETROLEUM” – “Kumkol” field.
The main part of industrial production in Kyzylorda is oil production. The discovery of oil fields in the lands of Turan, the depths of which are filled with treasures, laid the foundation for the prosperity of the region and stimulated the industrial and economic development of the region. The company “Turgai-Petroleum” with almost 30 years of history, which began production in 1995, has done a lot of work and achieved great success.
At the solemn event, first of all, veterans were awarded – representatives of the older generation who worked for many years in JSC “Turgai-Petroleum”, made a special contribution to the development of the enterprise, raised several generations of students. They were awarded the medal of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Veteran of Labor”. Among them are Alibek Sabyrbaev, Imanbek Imankulov, Balgabay Otarov, Marat Utegenov, Ismail Nurkulov.
Alibek Sabyrbaev worked at the company for 13 years, during these years, under his leadership, many large production facilities were built and commissioned in the Company: an oil preparation and pumping site, block-cluster pumping stations, etc.
Imanbek Zhetpisbayuly worked at the company for 29 years, was a driver of special equipment and heavy equipment in the oil and gas production shop. During these 29 years, he was not only a driver, but also a car mechanic, performed additional positions, ensuring the smooth operation of special equipment necessary for oil and gas production.
Balgabay Otarov is a professional who worked at the company for 29 years, went through a career from a simple driver to the head of the department of car mechanic, motor transport and special equipment. Over the years of work at the enterprise, he was an exemplary employee who ensured the smooth operation of special equipment necessary for oil and gas production, leaving his mark on the development of the joint-stock company.
Also Marat Utegenov – a specialist who worked at the company for 25 years, made a great contribution to the work of the labor protection and environmental protection, industrial safety department, over the years of continuous work in this department. A qualified worker who left his mark on the implementation of the company’s concept and policy in the field of labor protection.
Ismail Zhumabaevich worked at the enterprise for 25 years, was an operator of the boiler house for oil and gas production. Over the years of work in the company, a qualified specialist ensured the smooth and proper operation of the boiler plant.
This year marks the 125th anniversary of Kazakhstani oil. In 1899, at a depth of 42 meters from well No. 7 in Karachungil, located in the Zhylyoi district, an oil fountain was thrown out, since then the extraction of natural wealth in the vast Kazakh steppes has not ceased. At the same time, a group of employees was awarded the jubilee medal “125 years of Kazakh oil”. And the medal “For Contribution to the Development of the Oil and Gas Complex” of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded to the engineer-geologist of the 1st category of the Department of Geology and Development Saltanat Batyrbekova, the badge “Honored Worker of the Oil and Gas Industry” was awarded to the engineer-technologist of the 1st category Sabyr Zhumakhmetov, the Foreman of the Oil and Gas Production Shop Bolat Omarov, for professional achievements in the oil and gas industry the honorary diploma of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satkaliyev Almasadam Maidanovich was awarded to the engineer-programmer of the 2nd category Gulnar Zhunusova, the HR inspector Gulbada Amanova, the head of the oil preparation and pumping site Rashid Bakuov, the operator of the oil and gas production site Saparaly Saparov.
