TOIL AND HONOR TO GEOLOGISTS
Such branch of science as geology is of special importance for our country, whose subsoil possesses the richest deposits of natural and mineral resources. Thanks to the hard work of geologists, the minerals hidden in the earth serve for the benefit of people and contribute to the growth and development of the country’s economy. Geologist’s Day is a professional holiday of people whose work is connected with geology and the earth’s subsoil. The large scale with which it was celebrated this year at Kumkol field of Turgai-Petroleum Joint Stock Company once again showed the importance of the date among the oil community.
The celebration of the Geologist’s Day began with a subbotnik within the framework of the action “Taza Kazakstan” initiated by the President of the country Kasym-Jomart Tokayev. About 80 workers employed at the field took an active part in sanitary cleaning of the territory. Employees and specially invited guests of the event planted 120 saplings of maple, willow, mulberry, dzhida, spruce, poplar, saxaul and karagach in front of the administrative and professional building.
Then the celebration continued with a solemn event, where the achievements of the region in the field of geology were announced. With the professional holiday of geologists congratulated the head of the regional inspection of the Republican State Institution “South Kazakhstan Interregional Department of Geology of the Committee of Geology of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan” Yuzhkaznedra “Erkin Askar, deputy head of the branch of RGU” Southern Interregional Department of State Inspection in the oil and gas sector of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan ” Kuanysh Rakhmanbayev, executive secretary of the Kyzylorda city branch of the party AMANAT Gulshat Musayeva. The best workers of the sphere were honored with departmental awards of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee of Geology, letters of thanks to the Akim of Kyzylorda region.
– Geologist’s Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of April. However, this year the celebration of the date was postponed due to large-scale floods that occurred in the regions of the country. Today, after we managed to reduce the threat of natural disaster, we decided to gather to celebrate the labor of our geologists. Today, our country is making every effort to cope with the consequences of natural disasters. In connection with the difficult flood situation in a number of regions, the President of the country addressed the people of Kazakhstan, noting that none of the victims will be left without government attention. Oilmen of Syra land were not left aside from the common misfortune. JSC “Turgai-Petroleum” transferred more than 50 million tenge to the regions affected by the flood, in particular, Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions, sent 10 vehicles with humanitarian aid. This is a part of labor of each employee of the company. First of all, I am grateful to everyone for your civil and patriotic positions. Secondly, thanks to professionals working in the field of geology of the Company, new oil wells and “black gold” for the benefit of the country were launched. The winner was recognized as the team “Tarlan”, the teams “Brazil” and “Sunkar” took the second and third places respectively. Teams “Alga” and “Bagdattyң bandalary” received incentive prizes. At the end of the competition determined the best players in the nominations. Thus, “Best Player” was Askar Iliyasov, “Best Forward” – Abylaikhan Amangeldy, “Best Defender” – Olzhas Esnazarov, “Best Libero” – Aybek Abyzbay, “Best Coordinator” – Bolat Bakirov. Participating in the tournament 34 players were awarded special prizes. Special thanks to the organizers of the tournament, coaches Dinislam Abdikahar and Meirambek Omirtay. The winning teams and all participants received cash prizes.
