COMPANY EMPLOYEES ATTENDED FINANCIAL LITERACY TRAINING

JSC “TURGAI-PETROLEUM” employees were not left out of the “Debt-Free Society” project, which was held in all regions of the country. On the initiative of Dauren Abilkhairov, Head of the joint-stock company, about 150 employees of the company improved their financial literacy. Recently a solemn ceremony of awarding certificates to the participants of this project was held.

Executive Secretary of Kyzylorda city branch of “Amanat” party Gulshat Musayeva and General Director of JSC “TURGAI-PETROLEUM”, Chairman of primary party organization “Zharyk” Dauren Abilkhairov took part in the final event of the training, which lasted for two weeks, presenting certificates to the employees who passed the training course.

– The “Debt-Free Society” project was launched on the initiative of the “Amanat” party within the framework of implementation of the task to improve the financial literacy of citizens, set in the Message of the Head of State. As you know, the President drew attention to the excessive indebtedness of the country’s citizens. Upon the instruction of the Head of State, loans were forgiven to families in difficult situations, the law on bankruptcy of individuals was adopted, new legislative amendments were developed to reduce the credit dependence of the population. But practice shows that to solve this complex social problem it is necessary to form a new “financial culture” in the society. In 2024, about 200 thousand people in all regions of the country will undergo training on responsible attitude to money and study methods of increasing income. In addition, training manuals will be developed for schools, colleges and universities. This step improves the literacy of about 100,000 schoolchildren and 450,000 high school students. Thus, the project will cover 750,000 people, Gulshat Isayevna said.

And Dauren Turganbayevich drew attention to the fact that company employees have complicated problems with debts and loans.

– To tell the truth, there are also many among our employees who have financial difficulties. I hear and find out about it every week at meetings with workers. Many raise this issue and ask for help. In this regard, we are grateful to Kyzylorda city branch of “Amanat” party headed by Gulshat Isayevna, who, not leaving our requests without attention, gave us the opportunity to realize this project among oil workers. I myself took part in this project and saw that it was effective. That is why I can confidently say that the “Debt-Free Society” project will provide real support to those who are burdened with debts and have lost hope. The project teaches to live on available funds, to refuse unnecessary loans. Our employees support this project and ask for its continuation. Our goal is to provide every citizen with the knowledge and resources necessary to achieve financial independence. We strive to provide them with economic freedom and stability through debt relief, active education, and deep compassionate support. The project advocates for financial literacy, which is not only an important skill but also a fundamental right of every individual,” says Dauren Abilkhairov, Director of the joint-stock company.
